Kawasaki G100 Enduro - Results and Photographs

by Paul Howard, 03 May 15. Results [  ] Photos [ 1» ]

Well done to everyone who took part today and achieved their target number of laps. There was some awesome riding, and a special mention goes to Scott Chappell and Louise Robinson who dug deep and won the 7 lap categories. Huge thanks to headline sponsor Kawasaki for the amazing prizes and to flash sponsor Gore Bike Wear too for spot prizes.

It was the 7 lappers who not only endured the distance but were greeted by the worst of the weather as rain hammered down prior to the start and during the first hour of racing. But the course was still fully rideable - just fun and slippery in places. The beauty of enduro racing is that as the sun came out it really warmed up, so the character of the course changes; lines are bedded in and the trails become faster. So if you stayed away you should be kicking yourselves for missing a hugely fun course with twisty trails aplenty. Your next racing opportunity is the Merida Summer Monkey on the 14th June at Ceasars Camp, Aldershot.
