Gorrick Kawasaki G100 XC Enduro - Results and Photographs

The Kawasaki 100 at Minley Manor may well have been the 15th edition of the event albeit previously held at other venues, such as Swinley Forest and Porridgepot Hill. The event has always been typified by the course being a fun fest of great trails, not too climbey (although by the time you've hit your 7th lap you may disagree), and a good on course atmosphere as riders race to win or challenge themselves just to finish. The Minley Manor venue is most commonly used for the Brass Monkey Winter Enduros and 12:12 TORQ in your Sleep so many riders will have been familiar with the terrain, however the 8 mile course crafted by Jon and Pete was exceptional. They'd created an amazing balance of singletrack, overtaking opportunities, differing lengths and gradients of climbs, technical features, feeding areas long enough to neck a gel or bar, and most of it under tree cover to avoid the strength of the sun.
Looking through the results there were some speedy legs out there. You can check your lap times and position, and buy photographs via the links above. Massive thanks to Kawasaki for supporting the race and providing amazing prizes. And all the other sponsors for helping; Mountain Trax for the race number boards, TORQ for the Snaq cafe.
If this has given you an appetite for racing here again please sign-up to TORQ in your Sleep held on the August Bank Holiday weekend. There are multiple categories with both a 6hr race and the main 12hr event raced in teams, pairs or solo. Full information is available here and pre-entry is open now.
Well done everyone, enjoy a nice Bank Holiday rest.
