Scott Gravity Trail Enduro - Results and Photographs

A great day was had by all at the inaugural Scott Gravity Trail Enduro at the swooping loamy trails of Area 51 near Frimley. The format of six short stages ridden three times each gives a total of 18 timed stages where the total time of all added together is what counts toward the final position. The saying "every second counts" rings true as mere hundredths of a second might be all it takes to be on the podium, or to just beat your buddy. To see how you fared against everyone full stage-by-stage times and total times are available to view on the SportIdent website via the link above.
Gorrick resident photographer Kevin Sheldrake endeavoured to capture every rider at some point, and has great images especially over the fallen tree jump and log steps. Lot's of style going on, so if you want to buy race images head on over to his website via the links above.
Our great thanks to the headline sponsors Scott for the podium prizes, event support and demo bikes via Mountain Trax. And Muc-Off, Backcountry Research, Silverfish UK and Mountain Trax for the spot prizes and all their hard work in supporting the event. Thanks also to the marshalls for sitting out at the stages, hope you're not sunburnt. And finally to all the riders who made for such a fun chilled out vibe, with plenty of laughs, thrills and spills along the way. We look forward to confirming another Enduro later this year, so sign upto our Newsletter and Facebook for frequent event updates.
Next up for Gorrick is our long distance XC Endurance Race sponsored by Kawasaki at Minley Manor on the 6 May. Choose to race between 2 and 7 laps of approx an eight mile lap taking in all the finest singletrack this venue has to offer. P.s. it's where the 12 hour TORQ in your Sleep is held every August Bank Holiday weekend.
