Merida Brass Monkeys R2 - Sunday 13 December - The Christmas Cracker

Coming up next is Round 2 of the Brass Monkey Series, headline sponsored by Merida Bikes and supported by a raft of other generous sponsors. The Christmas Cracker is at Frith Hill, Deepcut Bridge Road, Deepcut, Surrey GU16 6SD a popular venue especially chosen for its suitability for mountain bike enduro racing at this time of the year.
Although there are trophies for the fastest, these events are also personal challenges where you choose how long you want to ride for, and then do as many laps of the course as you can or want to in that time - including finishing the lap that you are on when your time is up.
Registration opens at 08.00 and the START TIMES are:
10.00 (finishing 12.00) All 2hr riders including Juniors (aged 14-17). Podium: about 12.45. Entry £23 (Juniors £15).
10.10 (finishing 14.10) All 4hr riders. Podium about 15.00. Entry £25.
10.20 (finishing 13.20) All 3hr Male Grand Vet riders and Fat Bike riders. Podium about 14.00. Entry £24.
Round 3 – the New Year Hangover - will be on Sun 3 January at Minley, Hants – just in time for you to ride off the excesses of the Christmas season – pre-entry is also open now.
Each event has full facilities, including the popular warm air heated HQ marquee, and there will be trophies to be won at each round and also for the Series, plus lots of goodies to be won as spot prizes too.
