Preview: Gorrick Spring Series R2 - Sunday 2 March

Round 2 of our XC Saddle Skedaddle Spring Series is on Sunday 2nd March at Caesar’s Camp, Bourley Rd, Aldershot, Hants, GU11 1PZ.
Caesar’s Camp, which we used for the Brass Monkeys, is a massively popular all weather venue, with hills, plenty of swoopy singletrack, stunning views and some great spectating points too. Pre-entry at MBSA here and closes late next Tuesday, but you can always turn up and enter on the day. Full details about the event and Series are on the Gorrick website here.
We're expecting some more great racing, you can see the current Series Points table here. Riders who have already gained Series Points will be gridded on the Start line. Remember, you need to take part in at least 3 events out of the 4 to be a contender to win one of the great Series trophies from our sponsor Four4th Lights. Expert riders will, as usual, be competing for prize money which will be carried over again and awarded to the Series winners.
We will also be continuing to give out lots of Spot Prizes courtesy of our sponsors Owens Cycles, Banjo Cycles, Beyond Mountain Bikes, and 1st Gear Cycles.
For added interest, Mountain Trax of Wokingham will be running Demo Days at Caesar's Camp that weekend too, using our course. On Saturday 1st March there is the opportunity to test ride a huge range of mountain bikes from all their main brands - you do need to book, so see www.mountain-trax.com/page/26/demo_day for full details. On Sunday 2nd Scott Bikes will also be at Round 2 with their latest bikes for you to test ride. You won't need to book then, it will be on a first come, first served basis but you will need to provide them with photo i.d.
