Gorrick Spring Series 4 - Sunday 24 March

by Jane Lucas, 18 Mar 13.

Round 4 of our XC Skedaddle Spring Series is on Sunday 24 March at Porridge Pot Hill, Deepcut, Camberley, Surrey, GU16 6TU. We have worked on the course and you can expect a mix of short sharp climbs, some longer, gentler ones, plus some fast singletrack descents. As the car park and Arena are surrounded on three sides by much of the course, it's another very spectator friendly venue. There will be the usual warm Gorrick welcome, full facilities and trade stands.

We're expecting some more great racing and you can see the current Series Points Table here. Riders who have already gained Series points will be gridded again on the Start line. Remember, you need to take part in at least 3 events out of 4 to be a contender to win one of the great Series trophies from our sponsor Four4th Lights. Experts riders will, as usual, be competing for prize money which will be carried over again and awarded to the Series winners.

One lucky entered rider will also win a fantastic mountain bike holiday from our headline sponsor Saddle Skedaddle in our prize draw. Have a look at their new brochure out at Race Registration. We will also be continuing to give out lots of spot prizes courtesy of our sponsors Owens Cycles, Banjo Cycles, Beyond Mountain Bikes, 1st Gear Cycles, Nuflex and Green Stuff

You can pre-enter this event online until the evening of Tuesday 19 March, which means that you can then go straight to the Entry Express stand (at Event Registration) on the day to collect your number. Please remember to bring your receipt with you if you do so. Otherwise, you can always enter on the day, as usual. Full details on www.gorrick.com and pre-event updates will be on Twitter and Facebook.
