Spring Series 5 - Windmill Hill - Results & Photographs
by Paul Howard, 22 Apr 12. Results [ 1» ] Photos [ 1» ]
The 2012 Spring Series finished on a high at Porridgepot Hill which always makes for a fun course... if you like fast swooping descents, bombholes and steep climbs. The course was almost a reverse of previous years and included some of the classic trails used in the Army Cycling Union Are You Tough Enough Enduro to be held this year on the 15th July. Considering all the recent rain the trails rode very well with just a few puddles to splash through. This promoted some close finishes and especially in the final Series Positions, the winners of which received their series prizes at the presentations. The full listing will be published next weekend when all the results are confirmed and ties finalised.
The Gorrick team trust you all enjoyed the races and the variety of venues and courses. As ever thanks to all the category sponsors, number board sponsors and the teams of people that make the races work so seamlessly. We're now looking forward to the Exposure Lights Enduro at Swinley Forest on the 6th May. Get your entry in now to avoid queuing on the day.
