Crowthorne report & news of the Gorrick 100

No need to say much this time but thanks for turning up in your hundreds and thanks for the very encouraging emails & forum comments.

Looking to the future you will see that the Gorrick 100 is now only a 1 day event, as a result of organic farming, meaning we will be unable to access the camping field we had planned to use. However, we have increased the 10 mile laps you can choose to ride to 7, but don't worry you can still ride between 1-5 laps, if 70 miles sounds too much. The course preparation is going well, with more singletrack in the making plus we will be able to re-route the course if we get bad weather, which of course never happens in June!

We will be raising money for Berkshire Air Ambulance this year as it is very relevant to mountain bikers and has been known to visit Surrey Hill on occasions.

With two more races of the Spring Series still to go we are pleased to announce provisional Autumn Event dates as the 28 September, 19 October and 9 November with venues to be confirmed.

See you all at Surrey Hill on April 6th.
