Gorrick/Army Enduro Events 2010

Now that our Spring Series has finished, we’ve been looking forward to getting more riding in, and what could be better than the Army’s superb Enduro early next month? Here’s a word about it from Si Panter:
ARE YOU TOUGH ENOUGH Enduro - Sunday 4th July 2010
Merida Bikes continue their fantastic support to the Army by sponsoring this event, so as always expect some great prizes. We return to Porridgepot Hill for a third year at this popular venue and event brought to you by the ARMY. The date being the “toughest” to find in the ever growing MTB Calendar.
As always we will provide you with a great venue which has some lovely fast flowing singletrack to offer, with some short sharp ups along with some fast flowing downs for you to enjoy. Of course we will provide you with new sections, but we won’t leave out the old favourites which you all know and love such as, “Watership Down”, “Drop in Surgery”, “Pants way Round” and not forgetting the infamous “Valley of Doom” we won’t leave you wanting, of course there will be some fire road for re-fuelling and recovery to keep you going.
The course will be around 8 miles in distance, with the option to enter the 1, 2, 4 or 6 hour options to test yourself and dodging the “Gun Fire” round the course, “Take Cover” springs to mind, well you are in the Army for a day!
Facilities on site will of course include, Event Timing, Event Photographer, Commentary, Water, Catering, Trade stands and the ever important Toilets, camping will be available on site. Nearly forgot some lovely background music. We look forward to seeing you all on the day. We pride ourselves in providing you with a great Course as feedback suggests, along with some great spot prizes and some Unique winners trophies.
