Gorrick 100 Mountain Trax Enduro

Next Sunday 2 May sees the ever popular Gorrick 100 Enduro get underway at Swinley Forest, sponsored by a whole host of fabulous clothing companies; Gore, Fox & Altura all co-ordinated by Mountain Trax and a big investment from them with £1800 worth of prizes.  You can be sure of a superb ride with a whole raft of great prizes throughout the day and finishers' medals for those of you who pace not race!

This event is the South's long established premier Enduro event and has a unique feel all of its own.  The challenge is not fixed by time, but by the number of 10 mile laps that you choose to ride, either 1 (Fun/Taster) 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7. There will be a trackside feedzone area where you can leave drink, food and clothing so you can carry the bare minimum on each lap.

There will be trade stands to wander around during the day, massage therapists on hand to loosen up leg muscles and ease cramps and all the usual facilities. You may also be lucky enough to win a spot prize as all riders over 18 will be eligible!  We've already had lots of entries, and you can pre-enter online until Tuesday 27th April.  Entry on the day will be available at this event, but you may have to queue.

The clockwise lap this year has seen a number of major changes to previous years so be sure of a few surprises. Click for bigger map.

Online entry open for TORQ In Your Sleep

Oh and while you're there have a look at our TORQ IN YOUR SLEEP 12:12 Enduro that we've got lined up for you on August Bank Holiday Sunday.  Based once again at Minley Manor, Hampshire. With riding for Solos, Pairs or Teams over 12 hours from noon to midnight, you can expect a superb 8 mile course, a huge arena with loads of trade stands and a live, all singing, all dancing band and complimentary real ale to help you jig away the tiredness at the end.  In case you need some tunes to keep you going through the wee dark hours, there will also be our resident DJ complete with flashing disco lights to make the Bridge To Nowhere a welcome distraction!  Free camping is available from late Friday until early Monday so why not make a weekend of it? Entries for this epic event have just opened and for the first 100 entrants there's the added bonus of a free event t-shirt.  Don't worry if you don't make the cut though as all competitors will get a goodie bag.  As in previous years entries will be capped, so don't leave it too long – there is NO ENTRY ON THE DAY at this event!
