12:12 TORQ in your Sleep: Final notices
by Jane Lucas, 26 Aug 09.
Well the weather is set fair, the course is ready and the event is full. In addition to the Final Instructions that are on the website, we would also mention the following:
- There is plenty of space for camping and parking, on a first come, first served basis. Please note though that THE EARLIEST TIME OF ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT IS 2PM SATURDAY WHEN THE COURSE WILL ALSO OPEN FOR PRE-RIDING. Don't arrive any earlier please as things won't be ready!
- Registration will then open at 4pm (it will also be open on the Sunday morning from 8am), and the catering in the Marquee will start at 7pm.
- On Sunday Lumicycle will be in the Marquee offering a free battery charging and repair service (all makes welcome). They will also have a couple of unique deals just for 12:12 entrants and a limited number of the latest LED3 and LED4 systems available to hire, full details on their website.
- For male Solo riders we have split the category into under 40's and over 40's (Vets) and there will be plenty of trackside parking for all soloists.
How to complete your registration:
You and any other riders in your Pair or Team will need to visit Registration where there will be three desks; one for Solos and queries, one for Pairs and one for Teams. When Pairs and Teams go to Registration they will need to confirm their Pair/Team names and their own names. When the LAST MEMBER of the Pair or Team has signed the sheet, they will be given their Pack.
Solos will simply need to give their name and will then be given their Registration Pack which will include their number, Final Instructions, a glow stick and other information.
Do bring along your MBSA receipt to the event in case of any query. Please note that all riders must have confirmed their registration by 10.30am on Sunday when Registration closes, and be ready at the Marquee for the Rider Briefing.
We're really looking forward to the event, so see you there!
