Preview: Spring Series 4, 29 March - Porridgepot Hill
by Jon Lucas, 23 Mar 09.
Round 4 of our XC Spring Series sponsored by Saddle Skedaddle is next Sunday 29th March at Porridgepot Hill, Deepcut, Camberley, Surrey - that's the course with the great natural arena for the Start Area. Don’t forget the clocks go forward one hour this weekend so make doubly sure to set your alarm.
There have been huge turnouts for the first three rounds, and some great racing is assured as many Series positions are far from settled. There will also be TWO chances to win a fantastic mountain bike holiday in our rider prize draw - you will automatically go into the draw when you enter (provided you are over 18). The course has been freshly tweaked from last year, and there will be plenty of trade stands to browse as well as the usual facilities. You can pre-enter online until Tuesday night, but entries will, as always, be available on the day.
As lots of you have been asking, we have also opened up the online entry (there will be NO ENTRY ON THE DAY) for our 12:12 Torq in Your Sleep 12 hour Enduro, which will be on the August Bank Holiday weekend (Sunday 30th), so get sorting if you want to ride as part of a pair or a team!
