Preview: Spring Series 3, 1st March - Crowthorne

Sunday 1st March 2009 brings Round 3 of Gorrick's 2009 Saddle Skedaddle Spring Series supported by your local bike shops. This time we're on our much loved home patch of Crowthorne Wood. For the serious racers among you, there will be lots more Series Points up for grabs, gridding for the Series leaders - and you never know who'll be there and who won't be there! If you've not raced yet, why not give it a go and enter the Beginner or Fun categories which are for riders new to racing. As usual there will be full facilities, refreshments, trade stands, commentary and a warm welcome. For added interest there will also be the annual hotly contested Varsity competition between Oxford and Cambridge which goes off just after the Sport riders in the afternoon. Pre-entry will be open until Tuesday 24th February (please bring your receipt with you if you enter online) and there will be entry on the day at the usual £2 surcharge. There will also be another Saddle Skedaddle holiday which ANY rider over 18 has a chance to win as it is not based on race results (see their mountain bike adventures at www.skedaddle.co.uk to be inspired).
