Exodus Spring Series Round 3 Preview

by Luke Webber, 12 Mar 05.

This Sunday is the third round of Gorrick?s 10th Spring Series 2005 at Yateley Heath, where riders will have the chance to win a fantastic adventure holiday courtesy of series sponsors Exodus. All racers have to do is fill in an Exodus form when they sign on to be in with a chance of winning an adventure cycling break to Tuscany. The draw will, as usual, take place on the line just before the Open race goes off.

There will also be another ?50 prize from our racing calendar sponsors BumpyBikes.com to the rider in the designated category who does the fastest lap, but this time there will be twist!

Elite/Expert riders are going for cash prizes again so lets hope that all of the pre-season training has paid off and the fast boys don?t leave you for dead after the first climb.

The two previous races saw a real variety, with Crowthorne Woods being the perfect fun course and Heath Warren providing a tough technical singletrack fest. Yateley Heath will see the return to a classic XC course with plenty of flowing singletrack, interspersed with a few climbs and some tight and twisty loamy sections.

Last round saw a real shake-up of the point standings and Rob Lee will be at it again on Sunday looking for another double win.

Pre-entries closed on Tuesday, but you can always enter on the day and all you need to know, including a downloadable entry form and current series points standings, can be found on the website.
