Gorrick TVT Cool Mountain Bike Challenge - Sunday 27 October - MAP & ELEVATION PROFILE added

The COOL MOUNTAIN BIKE CHALLENGE on SUNDAY 27 October 2013 at The Pavilion, Charlton Sport and Leisure Centre, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3LF.
Autumn is here and so it’s nearly time for the hugely popular TVT Cool Challenge. The fully way marked routes will feature all your favourite off road trails in glorious north west Hampshire, including the much loved ‘Woods’ section, where we have been working to make it even better this year. You can choose to ride either the 45 or 30km route. The final route maps and elevation profiles will be published on the web site a few days before the event, to allow for any last minute changes. The event starts and finishes at The Pavilion, Charlton Sport & Leisure Centre, Andover, Hampshire. Postcode SP10 3LF / Grid Ref SU341467. Registration opens at 8.30am and riders may start from then until 10.30am with the course closing at 4pm. Start and Finish times will be recorded for all categories and published online by the next day. There will be friendly water/energy food and drink stops along the way and hot and cold refreshments will be available throughout the day at the Finish. Other facilities include easy parking, a bike mechanic, computer timing, mobile 4X4 marshals, changing rooms, showers and bike washing. Each rider will receive a free TORQ energy bar and a completion memento and will be in with a chance of winning a biking weekend break courtesy of our sponsors Saddle Skedaddle.
Young riders under 16 ride for FREE with an adult and there a is reduced entry charge for Over 65s. Online entry has now closed. Otherwise you can just turn up and enter on the day.
ALL RIDERS will receive a high quality full colour map extract of the routes.
