Sunday 7 August brings the third of our popular TrailTrax MTB Orienteering Series - which can be enjoyed singly or as part of the Series. All ages and abilities are able to enjoy these events as you are able to set your own target and pace.
HQ is at the picturesque and always hugely popular Flower Pots Pub and Brewery (postcode SO24 0QQ), which is at the centre of some great riding, has a large orchard garden and always lays on a great barbeque for us.

IF YOU’RE NEW TO TRAILTRAX Our TrailTrax events are fun for beginners as well as challenging for experienced riders. You can ride them as a Solo, Pair, Family or Group of riders (Group discounts are available – just ask). Full event details are here.
THE AIM OF A TRAILTRAX EVENT is to plan your own route (*SEE BELOW) then navigate and cycle to as many checkpoints as possible in either 2 or 3 hours and collecting as many points as possible. If you do well there are many prizes to be won, although some riders just enjoy riding around to a few checkpoints whilst enjoying the scenery. Whatever you do, you can enjoy some excellent off road cycling on a Sunday morning and then finish for food, drink, friendly chat and the prize giving in a great pub.
*All entrants receive a waterproof Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 map extract with the checkpoints already marked on it, a sheet giving descriptions of the checkpoint locations and a check card for punching which gives the checkpoint values. Route planning is the key skill, you don’t need to be an expert map reader!
Registration is open from 8.30am and Start Times are from 8.45 to 10.15 for the 3 hour event and from 10 to 11 am for the 2 hour schedule. The Prize Giving is at 1.30 as you relax, chat and enjoy the Barbeque and maybe the superb beer brewed on site.
