TrailTrax - Cliddesden Results

Plenty of planning, checking of trails and last minute adjustments coupled with glorious sunshine and a gentle breeze on the day, meant that over 150 participants enjoyed a very rideable morning in the saddle for our second round of this year TrailTrax series, sponsored by Mountain Trax.
The original start venue had to be abandoned due to damage to the field from a previous event but with assistance from a local farmer the parking was re organised and The Jolly Farmer at Cliddesden stepped in to provide the event HQ. Thank you to the landlord and his team for looking after us so well and inviting us back next year.
The results were very close in many of the categories with careful selection of routes essential to a good result, giving rise to just a handful of clearances, best of these by Dave Brothers in 2 hrs 43 minutes. Series positions should be available within a week and things are already shaping up nicely at the top. Round 3 on 15 July 2012 is at the massively popular Flower Pots at Cheriton, yes another pub, are you sensing a theme here?
