Equinox XC Results

The Autumn Races kicked off with the Equinox XC at Highlands Farm on 21st September. It was great to be back racing on what many riders described as the best course yet with super trail conditions. The course design team has worked hard to establish a blend of climbs, descents, singletrack and technical features with A and B lines, plus making way for more dual sections of track and overtaking options. We love it when riders say "the left line was definitely quicker", as someone else pipes up "no the right line was quicker and smoother, I overtook loads". Makes you think and shows the reason why a pre-lap is vitally important to not only suss out lines but also warm up effectively.
As ever, our thanks go to all who help to make these events what they are. This time we have welcomed along SmarTiming our new timing team. We also had lots of comments on the new number boards, and huge thanks go to Brilliant Bikes of Sunningdale for their sponsorship of them.
Finally, if you took part, thank you for your support of our events - we hope you had a really great day. Up next is our Cool Trail Ride on Sun 5 Oct and then we're back at Highlands Farm on Sun 26 Oct for more XC on a different course.
